The South Shore Skin Center and Spa SkinPlan is a unique, three-step skincare consultation and analysis you receive during your first visit. This scientific approach assesses several factors about your skin using advanced equipment, combined with a very human, person-to-person discussion about your desired results. Think of your SkinPlan almost like a fingerprint: It’s completely unique to your own set of characteristics, because no person is alike. Getting started is as easy as making your skincare consultation appointment (about 45 minutes is all you need). Our skincare consultation includes a VISIA photo imaging complexion analysis. This $135 value is offered to you for only $50.
Step one: Complexion analysis

To get a comprehensive explanation of your skin’s condition, the staff at SSSC will start the SkinPlan process by using photo imaging to understand the composition of your skin. We take several up-close photos of your face using different phases of lighting, to make an evaluation.
The machine then compares the patient’s face against baseline averages (based on your skin type and age), and then it gives them a percentile score for pigmentation, pores, evenness, wrinkles, and ultraviolet damage (or photo-aging).
Your skin care expert will clarify questions every step of the way, discuss the results you’d like to see, and begin to recommend results-oriented treatments and products with a SkinPlan that works just for you.

What starts at SSSC continues at home
You’re not going to take up residence at South Shore Skin Center and Spa (although some have asked!), but you can take some of our products home to accelerate and enhance your in-clinic treatments. These corrective skincare products are carefully selected for their higher levels of active ingredients, their ability to bring faster, more noticeable results than those found in department stores.
